How to properly prepare a document to have legal validity in the territory of Turkey?
The following outlines the algorithm of actions.
- The original document must be apostilled. In some cases, the apostille is placed on a notarized copy of the document. In the original or in the copy? Requirements, please check at the submission location.

- The document is then translated into Turkish by an accredited translator from the Turkish Consulate in Moscow.
Only accredited translators have the right to translate for the Consulate: the institution does not accept translations from others. The accredited translator certifies the translation with their signature and personal seal.
- The accuracy of the translation is certified at the Turkish Consulate in Moscow. The submission of documents is carried out based on a power of attorney from the owner. The certification period is 1-2 business days.
