Our company provides assistance with obtaining police records along with an apostille stamped on them by the Main Information Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. We have accumulated substantial experience over many years of requesting and certifying these kinds of documents for any country.

We currently are able to offer you several options for obtaining and apostilling your police record.

Option 1: request to obtain your record over the course of one calendar month

To obtain a police record within the indicated time period, you will need the following documents:

  • A notarial power of attorney for our employees (a sample is provided in the event that you place order) that can be processed at any Russian notary.

If you are abroad, a power of attorney can be obtained at the Embassy of the Russian Federation or at a foreign notary (a sample is provided in the foreign language in the event that you place an order). In that case, you will need to ask our specialists whether you will need certification of the power of attorney for Russia (we will arrange the notarization of a translation of your power of attorney ourselves).

  • A copy of the filer’s passport.

Russian citizens: you must provide a copy of the two-page spread of your passport containing your photograph as well as the page containing your registration address(es) at your place of residence (current and previous addresses). Foreign citizens: only the two-page spread of your passport containing your photograph is necessary (we handle the notarization of a translation of your passport on our own).

The following information will also be required:

  • you last registration address on the territory of the Russian Federation (if no such information is contained regarding your registration address);
  • changes to your name (if applicable);
  • whether you have a criminal record on the territory of the Russian Federation. If you don't provide this information at the preparation stage but in the process of obtaining your record it turns out that you did have a criminal record, the claim process can drag on for a while;
  • Option 2: obtain your police record in expedited fashion;
  • We can provide you the service of requesting to receive your police record within several business days.

Wait times:

  • 10 business days;
  • 7 business days;
  • 5 business days;
  • 3 business days.

In this case, all we will need is a Xerox copy of your passport. Russian citizens: a copy of the two-page spread of your passport with your photograph on it as well as a copy of pages 4-7 and 12-15, even if they're completely blank. Foreign citizens: only the two-page spread of your passport containing your photograph is necessary (we handle the notarization of a translation of your passport on our own).

The following information will also be required:

  • you last registration address on the territory of the Russian Federation (if no such information is contained regarding your registration address);
  • changes to your name (if applicable);
  • whether you have a criminal record on the territory of the Russian Federation. If you don't provide this information at the preparation stage but in the process of obtaining your record it turns out that you did have a criminal record, the claim process can drag on for a while.

Remember: in this case you don’t need a power of attorney!
We can also provide assistance in obtaining an “Apostille” stamp on your police record in the course of one to five business days.

Important note! If you've received your police record in another city in Russia, it can be apostilled in Moscow. An apostille cannot be stamped on a police record issued by the Multifunctional Public Services Center with an electronic signature or by the Embassies of the Russian Federation abroad.
