Civil Status Registry (Marriage) at the Italian Consulate in Moscow

To register a Russian marriage certificate in Italy, you need to prepare several documents for the Social Services Department of the Italian Consulate General in Moscow.

You must complete an application form and submit the original marriage certificate with an apostille, together with its Italian translation prepared by a certified translator.

If the spouses have chosen a separate property regime, a prenuptial agreement must also be prepared, apostilled, and translated into Italian.

Please note that documents submitted to the Consulate are not returned. If needed, duplicates can be requested from the relevant authorities.

Applications are accepted by appointment only through the Prenot@mi portal.
