Changing a Company's Address

The registration authority must check whether information about the address exists in the FIAS.

3. Decide whether or not to make this address change.
4. Notify the registration authority on the decision you've made and submit documents on your change of address within 7 business days following the date of your decision. In the case that you miss the deadline, the company may be fined in the amount of 5,000 roubles.

If the company has decided not only to change the address but also to move to another region or city, the procedure will grow more complex and documents will need to be submitted to the registration authority twice, with a twenty-day interval in between.
