Medical organizations devote a great deal of attention to attracting and updating new clients regarding the clinic’s services and ongoing promotions.

Not quite as much attention is paid to ensuring that the information displayed on their website is in accordance with current laws.

Legislation governing the way information is published is not merely laid out in a single law. Rather, it is spread across different laws, regulations, and orders. For that reason, it’s very difficult to keep track of what exact information needs to be included on a clinic's website and what can be added without compromising the organization.

Required information includes:

Information about the clinic (title, location, license information);

  • the list of paid medical services corresponding to medical services nomenclature, along with a listing of the prices (or rates) in roubles;
  • the rules for providing paid medical services;
  • links to sections of government websites (www.pravo.gov.ru and https://cr.minzdrav.gov.ru), where the corresponding medical assistance standards and clinical recommendations are published, including, in part, on which basis medical services are to be provided at a clinic;
  • citizens’ detailed rights and obligations in the healthcare field;
  • Internet advertising labeling.

This is not an exhaustive list of the requirements for information published on a medical organization’s website.

Charges and fines may apply in the event that these requirements are violated.

To avoid negative consequences for improperly publishing information on a clinic website, get in touch with Word & Law to have an audit of your website performed.
