A mother of a large family from Moscow, Maria Tischenko, wants to take away custody of their two children from her domineering husband Aleksei. The woman claims that Aleksei beats her, lives off of government handouts for their children, has attempted to steal the children and take reprisal against them, and has hung himself right in front of the children. All of that is happening at the behest of Aleksei's parents Nikolai and Svetlana who want to take the grandchildren and become their guardians.

His parents say that Maria is a horrible mother. Maria once left their little children alone at home and flew away to go to the sea, got drunk while she was pregnant, and tried to get Aleksei drunk. They say the bride is just using Aleksei, beat their son to the point of a concussion, destroyed all the documents, and sent her husband off to a psychiatric clinic with the goal of having his child custody taken away.

Anastasia Starovoitova-Ince recommended that the mother take greater responsibility with respect to her children and think long and hard when it comes to the issue of depriving her husband of his custody, not to mention that Aleksei ended up in the psychiatric hospital following the incident when he hung himself.
